China’s Samduo enters Europe with slim residential LFP batteries

Samduo, a Chinese battery maker that previously supplied white-label products to other brands, has unveiled three residential storage systems as it seeks to establish a foothold in Europe’s evolving self-consumption market.

For its European debut, Shenzhen-based Samduo presented three models led by the Nex E6000, an AC-coupled, plug-and-play system combining a battery, inverter and battery management system in a single unit. The 6 kWh LFP battery offers 2.6 kW of bidirectional charge and discharge power, 800 W of grid-connected output and up to 2.6 kVA of backup power. Capacity can be expanded to 90 kWh by connecting up to 15 units.

The company said the Nex E6000, which features a tempered-glass front panel and fanless design, is 11.9 cm thick, making it the slimmest residential battery currently available on the market.

Samduo has also introduced the Nex E6000H, which offers the same 6 kWh capacity in a more compact form factor, and the Nex P2800 Pro, designed for retrofit applications. The latter provides 2.73 kWh of capacity, expandable to 16.41 kWh, and includes 3.6 kW of solar input across four maximum power point trackers (MPPTs).

All products incorporate the company’s Samduo Intelligence software, which optimizes charging and discharging based on dynamic electricity tariffs, weather forecasts and household consumption patterns. Users can monitor performance through the Samduo app, while the company said its systems are compatible with more than 800 European energy suppliers. An open API intended to support third-party home energy platforms remains under development.

Samduo said all products use tier-1 LFP cells and are designed for more than 8,000 cycles of operation, backed by a 10-year warranty.

The Nex E series is scheduled to reach the European market in the third quarter of 2026 at a recommended retail price of €1,999 ($2,285) including tax. The company said it is seeking distribution partners in France and is in advanced discussions with potential partners in Germany.
