Fox ESS secures 10 GWh of Australian battery supply deals
Chinese manufacturer Fox ESS has signed separate large‑scale supply contracts with Australian renewable energy technology wholesalers and distributors Solar Juice and OSW to deliver a combined 10 GWh of battery energy storage solutions over the next 24 months.
Fox ESS Chief Executive Officer Michael Zhu said the strategic agreements with Sydney-headquartered Solar Juice and Queensland-based OSW will support the deployment of the company’s advanced residential, commercial, and industrial energy storage solutions throughout Australia.
“Together, we will continue to expand the availability of high‑performance energy storage solutions across Australia while supporting the broader global transition to clean energy,” he said, noting that the agreements reinforce the company’s long‑term commitment to the Australian market.
The agreements reflect “our shared commitment to delivering dependable, high‑performance energy storage solutions to Australian households and businesses,” Zhu said.
The two new agreements build on Fox ESS’s presence in Australia where it has cemented its place as a leader in renewable energy technology, offering energy storage systems, advanced inverters, and smart energy solutions.
Warwick Johnston, Managing Director of market analyst SunWiz, said previously that Fox ESS has established a strong and growing position in the Australian market.
“A longstanding leader in the UK and German markets, Fox ESS has rapidly established itself as a leading force in Australia’s energy storage sector,” he said. “Their competitively-priced solution and international leadership are clearly resonating with both installers and consumers.”
Fox ESS said it is pursuing a long-term strategy to support its growth in Australia, including building a 30-member service team. It also recently expanded its footprint, with new offices opened in Melbourne and Sydney.
