Chint Solar Europe sells 56 MW/180 MWh German BESS portfolio to Second Foundation
Chint Solar Europe has agreed to sell five standalone battery energy storage projects in eastern Germany, which it will deliver turnkey under a forward COD structure the company describes as relatively uncommon in the market.
Slovenia unveils battery storage rebate scheme
Companies that connected battery energy storage systems to the grid in Slovenia between January and July this year will be able to apply for a non-repayable grant covering up to 45% of eligible investment costs, capped at €225 ($259.33)/kWh, through a €10 million rebate scheme opening for applications in August.
