Western Australia completes installation of 2 GWh BESS near ageing coal-fired power plant
In the shadow of the aging Collie coal-fired power plant scheduled to close by 2027, the installation of 640 containerised batteries at Collie, Western Australia, is now complete. The battery storage facility will start serving the grid later in 2025.
