EDF wins decentralized, dual-use grid booster battery project in Germany With a total capacity of 250 MW across five sites, the battery storage system will support the transfer of electricity from northern to southern Germany, helping to alleviate grid imbalances and congestion. In addition to its grid-serving role, the system will also be permitted to generate market-based revenues.
