Marija Maisch

Marija has years of experience in a news agency environment and writing for print and online publications. She took over as the editor of pv magazine Australia in 2018 and helped establish its online presence over a two-year period.

Since December 2021, Marija has been working as staff editor at pv magazine Global for both online and monthly print publications, specializing in Eastern European solar markets, battery energy storage systems, and electric vehicles. In 2024, she took the role of Energy Storage News Director, leading the coverage on pv magazine’s sister website ESS News.

UK T-4 auction paves the way to nearly 7 GW of new BESS capacity by 2028 Out of the 6.9 GW of battery energy storage systems (BESS) prequalified, which translates into 1.9 GW derated capacity, around 1.8 GW of derated BESS secured 15-year contracts in the UK's T-4 auction.
