Reliance lands 1.86 GWh battery storage in Indian solar-plus-storage tender
Reliance NU Suntech will develop the solar-plus-storage capacity on a build, own, operate basis. The project will supply electricity under a 25-year power purchase agreement (PPA) with the Solar Energy Corp. of India (SECI).

Construction of Spain’s first grid booster batteries to begin in January
Grid operator Red Eléctrica de España (REE) will install two 25 MW/18.75 MWh batteries in what it has described as 'the largest SATA [storage as a transmission asset] system in the south of the European Union and the first of its kind to be built in Spain.'
