India: Engie secures solar-plus-600 MWh battery storage project, L&T to build 3 GW pumped storage project
Engie has won its first solar-plus-storage project in India, while Larsen & Toubro (L&T) has secured an order from Torrent Energy Storage Solutions to build the country's largest pumped hydro storage project.

More than 3 GW of pumped hydro storage advances in India
THDC India Ltd., a subsidiary of NTPC Ltd., has commissioned Unit 3 (250 MW) of its 1 GW (4 × 250 MW) variable-speed pumped storage hydropower project in Uttarakhand. Meanwhile, Bihar State Power Generation Company Ltd. (BSPGCL) has selected GreenCo Energies and Sun Petrochemicals to develop 2.12 GW of pumped storage power projects in the hilly regions of Nawada district, Bihar.
