Start of construction works at Netzbooster construction site in Kupferzell

250 MW grid booster battery breaks ground in Germany TransnetBW, the transmission system operator in the German state of Baden-Württemberg, has celebrated the official opening of the Netzbooster construction site in Kupferzell. The 250 MW battery-based energy storage system, supplied by Fluence, will help increse the utilisation of the electricity grid, reducing the need for network reinforcement and expansion.
