A standout at Deye’s booth was its new off-grid residential energy solution, featuring the SUN-6K-OG01LP1-EU-AM2 inverter paired with the SE-F5 battery. Specially designed for rural electrification and remote communities, this system offers strong off-grid performance and energy independence.

The SUN-6K-OG01LP1-EU-AM2 inverter boasts a maximum efficiency of 97.60%, with MPPT tracking above 99%, ensuring optimal energy conversion with minimal loss. This off-grid series inverter supports up to 18A high-power PV modules and delivers a maximum charge/discharge current of 135A. With IP65 protection rate and an independent cooling duct design – minimizing dust intrusion and maintaining long-term performance stability even in harsh environments.

Paired with it, the SE-F5 battery – Deye’s latest low-voltage storage solution – captured attention for its exceptional safety, affordability, and robust performance. Using top-tier LFP cells and an intelligent Battery Management System (BMS), the SE-F5 delivers comprehensive protection against overcharge, over-discharge, short circuit, and overheating. Beyond its seamless integration with Deye’s off-grid inverter, the SE-F5 is also compatible with various hybrid inverters, providing greater flexibility for diverse system configurations.

For the commercial and industrial sector, Deye presented its new 100kW-2.5MW energy storage system, integrating PCS (100kW/125kW), MPPT (8×40A channels), and STS (<20ms switching) into a seamless package. The Static Transfer Switch (STS) ensures seamless power supply, switching between grid, off-grid, and diesel modes in under 20ms. The PCS supports up to 170% peak power, achieving 98.5% efficiency, while the MPPT modules exceed 99% efficiency. Both PCS and MPPT feature IP65-rated protection, ensuring reliable operation in demanding environments.

This system is supported by the BOS-B battery, known for its advanced scalability, efficiency, and safety. Each rack delivers 215kWh, with support for up to 16 racks per PCS, enabling up to 32 hours of backup power depending on the load. An independent BMS ensures optimal charge management and extends battery life. Engineered to reduce electricity costs and enhance energy resilience, this solution is ideal for factories, schools, agricultural facilities, and other C&I applications committed to clean energy adoption.

Also debuting at the expo was Deye’s C&I Integrated PV-BESS-EV Charging solution, an intelligent system that combines solar generation, battery storage, and electric vehicle charging. It’s an ideal solution for shopping centers, office parks, EV charging stations, and other urban infrastructure, enabling enhanced energy independence, reduced reliance on the grid, and smooth integration of electric mobility.

For utility-scale projects, Deye showcased its powerful product lineup: the WS-GS2000-2H3 (2MWh air-cooled container), the WS-L4300-2H3 (4MWh liquid-cooled container), and the powerful WS-PCS2250-2. These solutions are engineered for high-efficiency grid support, frequency regulation, and renewable energy smoothing. Supporting both on-grid and off-grid applications, they are well-suited for large-scale solar plants and national utilities aiming to boost grid resilience and renewable integration.

“Solar Africa is a key event for us as we continue expanding our presence across the Africa,” said Mr. Eric, General Manager of Deye ESS. “Our all-scenario energy solutions, from residential to utility-scale, reflect our commitment to innovation, reliability, and addressing Africa’s diverse energy needs. We believe our technologies will help build a cleaner, smarter, and more resilient energy future for all.”

Deye’s participation at Solar Africa 2025 underscores its long-term strategy to support energy access, decarbonization, and sustainable development across the Africa. Backed by continuous product innovation and a strong local service network, Deye is well-positioned to play a leading role in shaping Africa’s renewable energy landscape.
