Energy company Energie Baden-Württemberg AG (EnBW) has announced its large-scale battery storage facility, to be built at the site of a former nuclear power plant in southwestern Germany, will be developed without government subsidies.

UK grid operator wants 23 GW of batteries by 2030

China’s Three Gorges renewables site to include 5 GWh of energy storage
State-owned Three Gorges Energy has revealed plans for a 16.5 GW renewables project in the Taklamakan Desert. The site will comprise 5 GWh of electrochemical energy storage capacity plus 8.5 GW of solar, 4 GW of wind, and 3.96 GW of coal-fired power.
Swedish greentech specialist Flower wants to expand in Europe
