Volytica Diagnostics Selected for New York’s Energy Storage Deployment Accelerator
volytica diagnostics, a pioneer in battery diagnostics headquartered in Dresden, Germany, has been selected for the sixth edition of The Clean Fight’s Energy Storage Deployment Accelerator.
The selection for the funding program strengthens volytica’s presence in the US by providing access to New York utility companies, developers, and OEM partners. The program offers the opportunity to apply for up to US$100,000 in grant support per pilot pending deployment commitments and matched funding . Backed by NYSERDA and the U.S. Economic Development Administration, The Clean Fight is a New York-based accelerator with a track record of supporting over 50 climate tech companies and enabling more than $800 million in follow-on funding. Earlier this week, the two-day summit brought together the newly selected cohort with industry stakeholders to kick off the program and explore pilot opportunities.
While volytica already monitors utility-scale BESS assets across the U.S., this selection represents a targeted expansion into New York. The expansion is supported by structured customer matchmaking, technical guidance, and regulatory navigation.
“Being selected for The Clean Fight’s Energy Storage Deployment Accelerator is a major milestone for volytica,” said Claudius Jehle, CEO of volytica diagnostics. “The program’s competitive selection process reflects the urgent demand for impactful, scalable solutions in energy storage — and we’re proud that our approach stood out. Our analytics go beyond sustainability: they deliver expert-level diagnostics to enhance safety, reduce risk, and maximize value.”
“The selection of volytica diagnostics reflects our commitment to identifying scalable solutions for the future of energy storage. As part of the sixth cohort of The Clean Fight’s Energy Storage Deployment Accelerator, volytica brings valuable expertise in battery analytics. We look forward to a constructive collaboration that drives impactful deployments and strengthens New York’s clean energy leadership,” said Aashika Balaji, Associate Manager of The Clean Fight.
“While our existing U.S. presence underscores our global ambitions, this program gives us structured access to New York decision-makers-utilities like Con Edison and developers like NineDot Energy – opening the path toward pilot deployments,” added Florian Stern, Head of Business Development. “Our immediate focus is shaping concrete use cases and securing matched funding to activate the grant.”
In an initial phase, volytica will collaborate with program facilitators and New York partners to define the scope of the pilot, secure the necessary private investment, and launch its first field deployments in the state. This collaboration comes at a pivotal time as battery storage technologies continue to mature and scale, and the need for robust monitoring solutions becomes increasingly urgent. volytica’s analytics platform addresses this need by enabling early anomaly detection and providing real-time, actionable insights that help operators safeguard performance, ensure safety and preserve the long-term value of their battery assets.
One key advantage is the ease of adoption for BESS operators, as volytica’s battery analytics integrate seamlessly into existing IT systems such as SCADA and EMS.
