Stockholm-based Byhmgard announced today that it signed a new deal to deliver four battery energy storage solutions (BESS) to projects in Finland for Finnish company Solarigo Systems Oy (Solarigo).

It’s the second deal between the parties: the newly announced order value for 21 MWh of projects, with projected revenue for Byhmgard of just over $3.6 million (approximately SEK 33 million). The companies already did a deal in December 2025, in Finland again, with that value exceeding $4.8 million (around SEK 43 million).

Byhmgard is a vertically integrated BESS project developer expanding beyond its Swedish heritage into the Nordics and wider Europe.

“Several transactions within a short period of time demonstrate the direction we are heading and our ability to deliver scalable BESS solutions in line with the growing demand for energy storage,” said Christian Byhmer, CEO of Byhmgard.

“This delivery represents an additional order from Solarigo and confirms our strong market presence in Finland … This marks the beginning of a collaboration that we see strong potential to develop over the long term,” he added.

The four BESS projects will be located in Sulkava, Rantasalmi, Juvam and Hirvensalmi in Finland, and will essentially be retrofits of battery storage to existing solar power plants.

Bhymgard today is a public company operating under the ticker symbol BESS on the Nordic Growth Market (NGM). While its business has grown strongly according to revenue reporting, its public listing status included the reverse takeover of a gaming company, which complicates how the business has appeared to operate.

That aside, the company has opened operations in Finland, Latvia, and Italy. In Latvia, it signed a letter of intent regarding the acquisition of a 30 MW BESS project in the country.
