Western Australia’s capacity tender seeks 2 GWh of energy storage
The ball is rolling on the Australian government’s pending Capacity Investment Scheme Tender 2 focussing on the Western Australian Wholesale Electricity Market and which seeks an indicative target of 500 MW of four-hour equivalent dispatchable capacity, or 2,000 MWh.

Tesvolt supplies NCA battery storage systems for 65 MWh German project
German battery maker Tesvolt has reported its largest order to date, which will see its systems based on nickel-cobalt-aluminium (NCA) chemistry deployed in a 30 MW/ 65 MWh energy storage park in the German state of Rhineland-Palatinate.

Yotta Energy launches ‘panel-level storage’ package for C&I solar
US storage and inverter specialist Yotta Energy says its new package has several advantages compared to conventional C&I solar storage solutions. For example, the design cuts out the need for a dedicated room or separate space for the battery racks and it reportedly keeps batteries cool, passively maintaining an ideal working temperature range, between 21 C and 38 C.

The investment in the Mimosa project, located near Baza, a town in the province of Granada in Andalusia, southern Spain, exceeds one billion euros. The consortium has invested five years in the project development, and its completion is slated for 2027.
