Argentina launches tender for 700 MW of battery storage outside Greater Buenos Aires Argentina's Energy Secretariat has launched a national and international tender process to incorporate battery energy storage system (BESS) plants at critical nodes across the country, with an estimated investment of $700 million. The initiative will be administered by the Compañía Administradora del Mercado Mayorista Eléctrico (CAMMESA), which manages the country's wholesale electricity market.
