India’s 670 MWh battery storage tender under VGF scheme yields $2,500/MW/month tariff
GUVNL concluded its 335 MW/670 MWh standalone BESS tender at a tariff of INR 2.10 lakh ($2,500) per MW per month. In other news, KREDL has awarded Pace Digitek a 250 MW solar project with a 250 MW/1.1 GWh BESS at Pavagada Solar Park, Karnataka, with an interim tariff of INR 5.51 ($0.061)/kWh approved by the state regulator.
SECI concludes 1.2 GW/4.8 GWh renewables-plus-storage tender at $0.07/kWh
The Solar Energy Corp. of India (SECI) has concluded its tender for the development of 1.2 GW of renewable energy projects coupled with energy storage systems (ESS), designed to provide 4.8 GWh of assured peak power supply daily (1,200 MW for four hours). The lowest discovered tariff under the auction was INR 6.27/kWh ($0.07/kWh).

India tenders 2.45 GW solar projects with 6.4 GWh battery storage
Rajasthan Solar Park Development Co. Ltd (RSDCL) has launched a tender inviting proposals to set up 2,450 MW of state transmission utility (STU)-connected solar PV power projects with 1,600 MW/6,400 MWh battery energy storage systems at the Pugal Solar Park in Bikaner district of Rajasthan. The projects will be developed on a build-own-operate (BOO) basis.

The Solar Energy Corp. of India’s (SECI) tender for 1.2 GW of interstate transmission system (ISTS)-connected solar projects, integrated with 600 MW/3,600 MWh of energy storage systems (ESS), has yielded a tariff of INR 3.12/kWh ($0.035/kWh).
