Hungary launches grants for residential battery storage
The HUF 100 billion Home Energy Storage Program is now open, offering simple online applications and guaranteed balance protection even if the inverter needs to be replaced. Priority will be given to households that sell all their solar electricity to the grid or will do so by the end of 2030, as well as residents of small rural settlements with fewer than 5,000 people.

3 MWh high voltage community battery launched in South Australia
A high voltage 2.5 MW / 3 MWh community battery installed through a South Australian electricity distributor, ARENA-funded program will be energised in March 2026 and remain on standby to help manage a regional community’s peak demand.
