Reden enters the Italian storage market with up to 2 GWh of projects
Pierluigi Vecchia, head of project development at Reden Solar Italy, told pv magazine Italia that the French company has initiated the development of large-scale standalone BESS projects, with commissioning planned for 2028–2029, further strengthening its integrated photovoltaic and energy storage strategy.

The Saudi Arabian developer has officially initiated the construction of the Beruniy Wind IPP project, which includes a 200 MW wind power plant and a 100 MW battery energy storage system located in the Beruniy Region of the Republic of Karakalpakstan.
Chile: AES gets seal of approval for 3.1 GWh battery storage coupled with solar-wind complex
The projects developed by AES Andes will be located in the Antofagasta region of Chile. It will feature a wind farm with an installed capacity of 140 MW and a 252 MW photovoltaic park, coupled with a battery-based energy storage system with a capacity of 624 MW with a duration of up to five hours.

Neoen to build 540 MWh second stage in Australia after signing ‘virtual battery’ agreement
French renewables developer Neoen has pressed go on the 270 MW / 540 MWh second stage of its Western Downs Battery being built in the Australian state of Queensland after striking a long-term “virtual battery” contract with energy generator and retailer AGL Energy.
