Palisade inks deal to buy 100% tolled Australian big battery project
One of the biggest batteries under construction in South Australia is set to change hands with Australian asset manager Palisade Investment Partners striking a deal to buy the 240 MW / 960 MWh Summerfield project from Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners.

Big things ahead for Romanian BESS investments
Aurora Energy Research foresees double digit internal rates of return for standalone battery energy storage (BESS) projects entering the market as early as 2026, while co-located assets could prove even more promising – especially post 2028 where rising saturation in the balancing markets is observed. Romania's energy minister said the country is targeting 3 GWh over the next few years.
