An industry first! Desay Battery’s 314 Ah energy storage cell becomes the first to pass new national standard test
With the accelerated global energy transition, the importance of energy storage technology is becoming increasingly apparent. As a core component in energy storage systems, the performance and safety of energy storage cells directly impact the stable operation of the entire system. On July 1, the National Market Supervision Administration and the National Standardization Administration Committee officially implemented the national standard “Lithium-Ion Batteries for Energy Storage” (GB/T 36276-2023). The new standard stipulates stricter performance indicators and testing methods, encouraging companies to adopt advanced materials and processes to enhance battery energy density and cycle life. Notably, the new standard raises safety requirements, adding six new aspects to battery safety performance, including overload performance, vibration performance, liquid cooling pipeline pressure resistance, high-altitude insulation performance, high-altitude pressure resistance, and safety protection performance.
Desay Battery’s 314Ah energy storage cell features high safety, long cycle life, and high energy efficiency. It has a nominal capacity of 314Ah, with a measured average capacity of >324Ah, an energy density of 178Wh/kg, an energy efficiency of ≥95%, and a standard cycle life of up to 12,000 cycles at 25°C. According to the “Test Report” issued by the Information Industry Chemical Physical Power Product Quality Supervision and Testing Center, the Desay Battery 314Ah energy storage cell demonstrates excellent performance in energy density, cycle performance, and safety performance, meeting all technical requirements of the “Lithium-Ion Batteries for Energy Storage” (GB/T 36276-2023) standard. This makes Desay Battery the first company in the industry to pass the GB/T 36276-2023 national testing standard.
