Turbo Energy unveils new AI-powered large-scale energy storage solutions

Spanish energy storage system manufacturer Turbo Energy, part of Umbrella Global Energy and listed on the Nasdaq since 2023, has unveiled its new Sunbox Industry and Sunbox Utility, artificial intelligence-powered systems for the industrial sector and large-scale projects, at Intersolar 2025.
The Sunbox Industry product, aimed at the commercial and industrial (C&I) segment, offers a modular, scalable, and intelligent solution.
It can be scaled from 100 kW/172 kWh to 3 MW/15 MWh.
It consists of a hybrid inverter (50-500 kW) and batteries (50-8,000 kWh of storage). Each storage tower has a capacity of 56.2 kWh, with a minimum of 20.4 kWh. Up to 16 battery towers are possible.
It has a maximum efficiency of 99.0% and a European efficiency of 98.1%. It features forced ventilation (in the 500 kW version) and air ventilation (for the 250 kW version), and offers a 10-year warranty in all cases.
It offers 24/7 backup, enabling power supply in the event of a blackout, as well as peak shaving, operation in connected or standalone mode, and real-time monitoring. According to the manufacturer, “thanks to predictive analysis based on consumption habits and weather forecasts, it maximizes energy efficiency and reduces costs, with potential savings of 30%.”
Sunbox Utility-Scale is a new storage solution designed for large-scale projects, but also applicable to C&I installations with high energy demands. It offers up to 6.25 MWh of storage and is housed in a liquid-cooled IP55 container. Its main features include energy arbitrage, which allows energy to be stored during times of lower cost and released during times of higher profitability.
Both Sunbox Industry and Sunbox Utility-Scale incorporate artificial intelligence technology and advanced energy management capabilities developed by Turbo Energy. Additionally, both solutions feature native integration with the new Turbo Energy+ app, which enables real-time remote monitoring, complete control of production, storage, and consumption from anywhere, and predictive analysis thanks to artificial intelligence-based algorithms.
Turbo Energy introduced its new batteries for the residential sector this year.
