TWS Technology Builds a Grid-connected C&I Energy Storage System for a Sewage Treatment Plant in the Netherlands, Empowering the Municipal Low-carbon Transition

Relying on a PCS efficiency of up to 98% and a battery cabinet charge-discharge efficiency of 93% at 0.5C, the system ensures high-performance energy storage and release, realizing multiple values simultaneously by integrating an “economy + reliability + sustainability” trinity strategy. Through a 0.5C charge-discharge strategy, the system achieves two charge-discharge cycles daily using peak-valley price differences. Coupled with demand control that reduces maximum power load by 15%, it is expected to save annual electricity costs by over €120,000. Equipped with a diesel generator interface, the system can seamlessly switch to backup power in extreme situations, ensuring the 24-hour uninterrupted operation. It also helps reduce annual carbon dioxide emissions by approximately 280 tons.
