Bluetti launches FridgePower, pricing now available for the home appliance style 2 kWh battery
Bluetti has launched its long-awaited FridgePower energy storage solution on Kickstarter, and finally pricing is now available.
The FridgePower will launch at $759 as the starting price, with the purpose-built storage option aiming at keeping household refrigerators cool during outages as a plug-and-play setup.
ESS News previously reviewed the FridgePower, putting the device through its paces and finding a well-performing piece of hardware that fit easily into a kitchen, but the final pricing was noted as being important for deciding overall value.
Still, the advantages are clear: it’s portable so that it can be embraced by those that rent or lease houses or apartments, and it can move with you, but it’s also designed to be tucked away and fit the kitchen appliance aesthetic.
Specifications haven’t changed: The standalone unit remains a slim and long design that aims to be tucked away. It still packs a 1.8 kW AC output with 2 kWh capacity, with surge power up to 3.6 kW for those heavy-duty refrigerator compressors and pumps. Plus, 10ms switchover for uninterrupted power for sensitive tech and smart home connectivity.
