Another new Indian BESS factory: Solex Energy to set up 5 GW solar and 10 GW battery plant at $420 million cost
Solex Energy has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Government of Gujarat to set up a 5 GW solar cell manufacturing facility and a 10 GW battery energy storage system (BESS) factory in the state, with a total planned investment of more than $420 million.

India is projected to add 30 GW of new energy storage capacity by June 2027 through standalone and firm and dispatchable renewable energy (FDRE) projects, according to a recent report by SBI Capital Markets (SBICAPS). New battery manufacturer with European software: GAZ Energy builds factory in Czech Republic
