Small-scale battery uptake in Australia exceeds 4.7 GWh capacity in six months
Australian households, small businesses and community organisations have installed a record-setting 200,000 battery energy storage systems since the launch of the federal rebate in July with the $7.2 billion initiative now expected to deliver more than 2 million home batteries by 2030.

Germany sets energy storage capacity record in 2025 despite fewer new systems
More than 2.2 million energy storage systems have now been installed in Germany, with around 526,000 new systems added in 2025 – around one quarter of the total fleet. Small-scale energy storage continues to dominate new additions, but the number of projects in the planning phase suggests large-scale storage could be set for significant growth.

Tesvolt battery storage to benefit from “Made in Europe” funding bonus in Austria
Tesvolt's new battery modules, each offering 6.25 kilowatt-hours of storage capacity and a scalable design, are set to receive Austria's "Made in Europe" funding bonus. This eligibility stems from their production in Wittenberg, Germany. The bonus will be introduced with the upcoming funding call in June.
