Reden enters the Italian storage market with up to 2 GWh of projects
Pierluigi Vecchia, head of project development at Reden Solar Italy, told pv magazine Italia that the French company has initiated the development of large-scale standalone BESS projects, with commissioning planned for 2028–2029, further strengthening its integrated photovoltaic and energy storage strategy.

Researchers identify optimal level of solar, battery storage for Europe
Scientists in Hungary have developed a model to calculate the optimal PV and battery storage balance to support the European grid in the next few years. They found the cost-optimal range is 530 GW to 880 GW of solar, combined with battery storage equivalent to 2.5% to 7.5% of the total intermittent capacity.
Green Flexibility commissions grid-neutral battery storage project in Germany
The 15 MW/33 MWh storage facility in Immenstadt is the largest of its kind in Bavaria. 'Grid-neutral' operation of the battery has been agreed with the network operator Allgäu Netz to avoid placing additional strain on the regional electricity distribution system.
