Chinese electronics manufacturer Anker has expanded its Solix line of hybrid cooler and battery storage at CES 2025, launching the Anker Solix Everfrost 2 as an outdoor-ready electric cooler and portable power station, plus a new Solix Solar Umbrella.

The Anker Solix EverFrost 2 is available in 23L, 40L, and 58L sizes, with a temperature range of -4°F to 68°F (-20°C to 20°C). A detachable 288 Wh lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery provides up to 52 hours of cooling, and users can add a second battery for up to 104 hours of use.

The image below shows the compartment where the batteries can be stored as by the cooler, or for portable power, along with storing generation from solar modules.

Each battery also doubles as a power bank, offering 60 W USB-C and 12 W USB-A charging ports. It has an IPX3 waterproof rating. Users can control and monitor the cooler remotely through the Anker app.

The cooler features what Anker says is its Solix FrostFlow Air-Cooled Refrigeration technology, which cools “up to 30% faster than traditional methods.”

The 40L and 58L models will be available for pre-order on February 21, and they will be available at retail starting March 7. The 23L is slated to launch later in the second quarter of 2025. Pricing starts at $699 for the 23L.

Anker also introduced the Solix Solar Umbrella, which integrates with the company’s portable power stations. It offers a maximum 100 W output through XT-60 and USB-C ports. With an IP67 waterproof rating, the umbrella’s sunshade fabric is equipped with perovskite solar cells. A representative told ESS News that the cell efficiency is 18% and has a lifetime of 10 to 15 years. The product will be launched in the summer of 2025.
