Spanish lithium-ion battery maker Endurance Motive has unveiled its 5 MWh Endurance ST product, for large-scale energy storage projects.

With 99% efficiency – rated 98.5% in Europe – the liquid-cooled Endurance ST has a five-year, 8,000-cycle warranty. The 43-ton product measures 7 m by 2.44 m by 3m.

The product can be hybridized with solar plants via direct-current (DC)-DC coupling or DC-alternating current connections. “We offer integration with the inverter in both modalities and resolve any doubts in the development of the EPC [engineering, procurement, and construction project stage],” said the company, which is based in Canet de Berenguer in the Valencian autonomous community.

The Endurance ST can operate as a standalone BESS and its manufacturer offers engineering design, project, and development services for such sites.

Endurance President Ander Muelas said the first destination for the battery will be the Key Energy Rimini 2025 trade show, in Italy. Endurance’s partner in Italy and Croatia, renewables developer Ingenium Group, will show the battery in Rimini at the event on March 5-7.

The energy storage product will then be on display at the Genera 2025 International Fair of Energy and Environment, in Madrid on Nov. 18-20.
