French battery storage company Eclipse has closed a €20 million Series A financing round, co-led by BNP Paribas and Noria, with participation from existing investors including Wind Capital.

Paris-based Eclipse said the capital will be deployed across three priorities: the development of its first proprietary battery storage projects, continued scaling of Flowstream, its proprietary optimization and trading platform, and the acceleration of long-term offtake solutions for asset owners across Europe.

The funding round builds on a strategic partnership Eclipse and BNP Paribas announced in February 2026, under which the two companies said they intend to jointly offer long-term offtake solutions combining Eclipse’s optimization expertise with BNP Paribas’ financing and structuring capabilities.

Eclipse develops, operates, and optimizes utility-scale battery storage projects and provides tolling and optimization services to third-party asset owners.
