SoliTek launches made-in-Lithuania, high-voltage C&I battery energy storage solution

Lithuania-based manufacturer of solar panels and batteries SoliTek has launched a new commercial and industrial (C&I) energy storage system, SoliTek VEGA, featuring its proprietary AI-powered energy management system (EMS).
The high-voltage system utilizes lithium-iron phosphate (LFP) battery cells. The battery modules integrated into the product are manufactured on SoliTek’s automatic production line in Vilnius with an annual output of 350 MWh. The company aims to scale up its battery storage manufacturing capacity to 1 GWh.
The new 51.2 kWh battery energy storage system is a modular solution that is stackable up to 20 units for a cumulative 1 MWh. Such a system would run on 10 units of 50 kW hybrid inverters connected in parallel.
The product’s nominal voltage stands at 512 V and its operating voltage ranges from 424 V to 584 V. The charging temperature ranges between 0 and 50 degrees Celsius, while discharge can take place in temperatures ranging from minus 10 to 50 degrees Celsius. The product measures 850 x 780 x 2130 mm and weighs 600 kilograms.
SoliTek VEGA should be installed indoors in temperatures ranging from 0 to 35 degrees or optionally outdoors. The system features an aerosol fire protection system. It comes with a performance warranty of 6,000 cycles and a 10-year product warranty.
SoliTek VEGA is compatible with a hybrid inverter from China’s Deye SUN-29.9/30/35/40/50K-SG01HP3-EU-BM3/4 series. “We are 100% comfortable with this Deye series and in some markets sell them under our own label. We are also working on a few other inverter integrations that should appear within this year,” a spokesperson for SoliTek tells ESS News.
The product is available for order globally, except in the U.S. due to specific certification requirements, according to the spokesperson.
By means of its EMS, SoliTek VEGA connects to European wholesale electricity markets like NordPool and uses AI to track and analyze dynamic tariffs, charging up during off-peak hours when energy rates are lower and discharging during peak times to reduce energy costs.
“Integration with day ahead markets for smart energy management currently only works for Nordpool listed markets, however other markets could be integrated on demand,” the company spokesperson says.
SoliTek VEGA also provides a three-phase backup with a transition speed of 10 milliseconds, ensuring power supply to businesses even during a power outage. It can be paired with any virtual power plant, according to the manufacturer.
Solitek was founded in 2009 and is part of the BOD Group, a family-owned conglomerate of high-tech companies. It entered the battery storage market last year with the launch of its 5.12 kWh NOVA residential smart battery system.
