Zendure launches new residential batteries

US-based battery startup Zendure has announced two new home energy storage solutions for the European market.
The company released the SolarFlow 800 energy storage system designed for balcony power applications and the SolarFlow 2400 AC-coupled energy storage system for rooftop PV systems. Both products have AI capabilities and will be ready to preorder on April 1.
“Both the products are equipped with the ZENKI Home Energy Management System, which optimizes energy flows by learning from usage data and analyzing factors such as weather forecasts, battery capacity, and dynamic tariffs from over 700 European providers to create personalized energy plans,” the company said in a statement. “Through intelligent load shifting and real-time adjustments, Zenki can reduce its dependence on the power grid and save up to 42% on energy costs.
The SolarFlow 800 Pro combines a microinverter, hub controller, and battery in an all-in-one design. It can take a PV input of up to 2.6 kW from up to four 660 W modules and convert it to an AC output of 800 W. The IP65-rated device utilizes a lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO4) battery with a capacity of 1,920 Wh, featuring a maximum charge and discharge current of 30 A. It measures 34.97 cm x 20.17 cm x 4 cm and weighs 26 kg.
“The integrated battery has a storage capacity of 1,920 Wh and can be expanded with up to five additional batteries for a total of 11.52 kWh,” the company highlighted. “Thanks to a low PV startup voltage of just 14 V, SolarFlow 800 Pro reliably generates solar power even in low-light conditions. The advanced, high-efficiency Gallium Nitride (GaN) technology enables a charging efficiency of 96%.”
The SolarFlow 2400 AC is a 2.4 kW bidirectional hybrid battery targeted at owners of rooftop PV systems. It comes with Zendure’s AB3000X battery, which has a storage capacity of 2.88 kWh. Five additional AB3000X batteries can be added to the system, increasing the total storage capacity to 17.28 kWh. It comes in an IP65-rated enclosure, measures 44.8 cm x 30.3 cm x 8.8 cm and weighs 10.12 kg.
“It’s particularly aimed at PV owners who don’t yet have a storage system or want to reduce their electricity costs through time-of-use (TOU) tariffs,” the company added. “Third-generation silicon carbide (SiC) semiconductor technology ensures maximum efficiency, with an overall conversion efficiency of up to 96.5%”
