Zendure launches whole-home capable SolarFlow Mix Series, three new options
Zendure, long associated with Europe’s plug-in balcony solar boom, has launched the SolarFlow Mix Series, new home storage systems that push the company beyond its 800 W roots, with modular options.
Back in February this year, Zendure unveiled three SolarFlow models in a significant new launch that restablished its position in the market, and the new Mix Series marks a shift into whole-home energy management for European households.
The three new products are the SolarFlow 4000 Mix Pro, SolarFlow 4000 Mix AC+, and SolarFlow 3000 Mix AC+.
The SolarFlow 4000 Mix Pro is an 8 kWh option, featuring a 4 kW bidirectional AC output, up to 13 kW of PV input, and scalable storage up to 50 kWh. This is a major step up from the 2.4 kW / 16.8 kWh ceiling of the SolarFlow 2400 Pro for households that need it. The 4000 Mix Pro supports two 4,000 W MPPTs, and produces 3.68 kW in off-grid mode.
The next system, the SolarFlow 4000 Mix AC+, is designed for existing PV systems as a retrofit, and also comes with an 8 kWh battery. Its 5 kW AC input is compatible with major inverter brands in Europe. It can charge and discharge at 4 kW, feeding 4 kW into the home grid, and supports scalable storage up to 50 kWh. This is a significant change from the SolarFlow 2400 AC+ and SolarFlow 1600 AC+, which offered no DC input and relied solely on excess PV power from an existing solar system to charge the batteries.
The smallest of the three systems is the SolarFlow 3000 Mix AC+, also for retrofits to existing PV systems. It offers a 3 kW bidirectional AC input, 3 kW of continuous on-grid output, 3.68 kW off-grid, and 8 kWh of fixed storage. Unlike the other two models, it cannot be expanded and serves as a standalone option for those with less space or smaller PV systems, and ensures those with balconies or rooftop solar have sufficient options at different price points.
All three SolarFlow Mix models share the same durability and environmental specifications. They are IP65-rated for outdoor use, suitable for operation between −20 °C and 55 °C, and, according to Zendure, operate at 25 dB. With an all-metal enclosure, the company states the systems offer 10,000 cycles, a 15-year lifespan, 90% round-trip efficiency, and 100% inverter compatibility via PV-IN AC.
The products also embrace Zendure’s newer smart operations and features, including support for Zendure’s Home Energy Management System (HEMS 2.0), what it calls Zenki AI mode for real-time AI-optimized charging and discharging based on electricity tariffs, weather data, and household consumption patterns, plus PV generation forecasts, as well as support for dynamic electricity tariffs like ZenWave and its coming VPP.
