Midea Hiconics releases new residential all-in-one battery storage systems
Midea Hiconics, the solar storage and inverters subsidiary of Chinese electrical appliance manufacturer Midea Group, has released a new series of three-phase all-in-one residential energy storage systems. Dubbed the HIENERGY Series, the latest product line combines a solar inverter and battery storage units.
“This new system offers easy and quick installation, with no cables required between batteries, making it user-friendly and efficient for homeowners,” the company said. “The all-in-one and modular design allows for flexible installation, providing a sleek and aesthetically pleasing solution that blends seamlessly with any home.”
The system comes with one of four inverter capacities, ranging from 5,000 W to 8,500 PV input and a max output of 8,800 W to 15,000 W. They all have two maximum power point (MPP) tracks and up to two strings per MPP tracker (MMPT). The inverter has a maximum efficiency of 97.7%.
Up to four battery modules can be stacked together, and up to two storage systems can be installed in parallel. There are three different battery modules with nominal power varying from 5.1 kWh, 7.68 kWh, to 10.24 kW bringing the maximum to 20.48 kW – with two systems, each with four modules, combined. Their operating temperature is between -20 C and 55 C, and their weight is between 124 kg and 468 kg.
“With a 10-year warranty, the HIENERGY Series guarantees long-term reliability and performance,” the company concluded. “The product is currently available in Germany, the Netherlands, Poland, Hungary, and Turkey, providing homeowners in these regions with a cutting-edge energy solution.”
