Anker Solix has announced the launch of its latest power station, the Anker Solix C2000 Gen 2. The product offers 2 kWh (2,048 Wh) capacity with a 2.6 kW output, able to handle most appliances in a home and devices in the field.a portable power station with a 2048 Wh (2 kWh) capacity. The new option complements the recently launched Anker Solix C1000 Gen 2.

The C2000 Gen 2 battery, which features lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery cells, has an idle power draw of 9 W, which Anker is branding as OptiSave, while claiming this as the first 2 kWh unit with a standby power consumption under 10 W. Anker Solix believes this is 37.5% lower than the industry average.

It’s rated at 4,000 charge cycles and Anker says it can provide 10 years of daily power.

The C2000 Gen 2 can deliver a rated power output of 2.4 kW and a peak power of 4 kW, able to handle most appliances in a home and devices on the go or in the field. It features six AC outlets, including a TT-30 plug, along with two 140W USB-C ports. In terms of charging, the C2000 Gen 2 supports dual charging with a combined AC and solar input for up to 2,600 W, reaching full charge in 58 minutes. The max solar input is 800 W.

The C2000 Gen 2 weighs 18.9 kg or 41.7 lb and its capacity is expandable from its base of approximately 2 kWh up to 4 kWh with an additional battery. Anker Solix claims the redesigned 2 kWh power station is 25% lighter and 29% more compact than the industry average. It’s also far less heavy than the 30.5 kg of the previous generation model.

Anker’s branding evolution takes a little catching up with. The company previously had a 2 kWh option known as the Anker Solix F2000, itself a rebrand of the old Anker PowerHouse 767 as Anker established the Anker Solix brand.

For what it’s worth, the F3000 was launched this year as a 3 kWh option and still exists with the old branding.
